For more than 30 years, Intervention Instruction, Inc., has helped DUI offenders separate drinking and driving through education and treatment. Intervention Instruction was the first to offer an education-based risk-reduction solution and remains fully licensed, widely recommended and proven effective today.

The mission of Intervention Instruction, Inc. — a non-profit corporation — is to impact the lives of persons at risk of developing substance-related problems. Every effort, every task, every expenditure, and every individual is dedicated to achieving this goal. Keeping the poor at the center of our consciousness, we are committed to expressing God's will through the functions and vision of our organization.

Our DUI Class Online offers an opportunity to help clients effect positive changes in their lives during a difficult time — with thoughtful reflection, relevant facts and statistics, and skill-building exercises. Our clients learn more, retain more, and put their new skills into practice in order to avoid a repeat offense. The class offers the key to understanding behaviors and better decisions for the future.

Company History

Founded in 1974, Intervention Instruction, Inc., was originally created as a DUI risk reduction and prevention program to meet the demand for remedial alcohol education classes in Cook County, IL.

Since risk reduction education was the core of the court-ordered DUI program, Intervention Instruction originally focused its resources and expertise on the first-offender population. This decision was based on the core belief that a first DUI offense creates a uniquely educable moment in the life of the offender. Thus, the first time offender is more open to changing his or her behavior concerning drinking and driving.

DUI Class Now Available Online

The Intervention Instruction Risk Reduction education program has been so extraordinarily successful that the program was transformed to a virtual classroom in 2004. Now, DUI Class Online makes the same proven program available online and for any risk group.
